update...tuesday and wednesday (;
Tuesday:
today I got switched to another work group...I was with Frank, Karen R, Becky, Laura, Sarah, John, Karen, and myself. What we did was paint a house red and also paint the shed red. {hehe that rhymes} then when we got back to the house place we all took our showers and played games until 1:30am and laughed all night...everyone learned how to play polish poker(we played with connect 4 and checker pieces). it was fun...i dont think anyone went to bed until about 2. that really all that i remember about yesterday.
Wednesday:
breakfest was at 8 instead of 7 today, mia and i didnt wake up until about 8:05-ish. we were a little late. after breakfest we went back to the house place and got ready, because we went in our pj's. On our hour drive to the coal mine i got a little car sick, the hills and turns we bad, needless to say, i felt like i was gonna be sick. when we got to the coal mine i sat on the ground and got my stomach back. lol. the tour was sorta disappointing because they said we were going 1500 ft under ground, and i was expecting it to be like a roller coaster like on Scooby Doo (: haha! but it was only 185 ft under a large hill so we stayed level to the ground we started on, that sounded confusing, but you get what i mean. anyways after that we went on a tour of how miners lived when that mine was open. i got scared oput of my pantys when i saw a man-dummy behind the mailbox at the post office room. i cried a little. (: haha! so after that tour we went to a park where we found my dad and Lance and Carl setting up lunch at a picnic table. while they were doing that we played at the park and got ourselves very dizzy on the marry-go-round thingy. after eating we got interviewed by a newspaper lady, so we answered her question of "How do you fight the heat?" THENN she took a group picture pof us and we went to the pool that was at the same park. we stayed at the pool for about 3 or 4 hours. it was so fun, the lifeguard at the top of the slide let all of us ride in one big chain down the slide. IT WAS SO FUN! we got pretty tired of taking silly pics jumping off of the two diving boards and sliding down the slide so when it was break time we all went to go and tan then we went and played some more at the park and then it was back to the car. The view here is SOOO pretty. when we arrived it was to dark to see all of the mountains so today was just amazing. ONE LAST THING... when my dad was on the phone with my mom he heard a *crackle crackle**BOOM!* The whole top of the tree fell behind him!1 It was huge like at least 20 feet long and a foot wide. So we had all the guys go outside and stop traffic and pick it all up. It was so cool when Carl pulled it off the highway with his truck! we all were outside taking pics and said that was the high light of our trip. =]
well i know i wrote a novel for today (: but it was a very fun/eventful day. hope for more tomorrow. love always,

ps. lance hurt his knee playing kickball. hahah he's okay, but he limps.

I thoroughly enjoy reading about your daily activities and checking out the progress you all are making on the houses. I am really proud of you, your dad and the rest of your group. Keep up the good work! You are definitely going to brighten their days ahead.
